Symphony No. 2 in D Major, by Jean Sibelius (1865-1957), Part 1

Performed by the Kamiak High School Symphony Orchestra I, under the direction of Brian Steves. John Stucki, who also plays guitar in the Kamiak jazz band, got the semester award to the delight of his fellow orchestra members. You can see John in previous gigsplace videos. This was presented by the Kamiak High School department of fine arts. Kamiak having a large and talented student body of musicians, had five separate group performances . This one performance shot in HD took almost 3 gigs, DivX converted to 1gig. You Tube only allows video up to 1 gigabyte. This video took 15 min. I had to upload it in two videos for You Tube, they only allow 10 min. part two to follow, just google gigsplace part 1 and part 2. If a parent wants a 15 min. copy. Email and I will make you one.
