The pilot movie for the Emmy-nominated series "Kung Fu" starring David Carradine. He is a man of peace in a violent land. He is Kwai Chang Caine, schooled in the spirit-mind-body ways of the Shaolin priesthood by the blind, avuncular Master Po and the stern yet loving master Kan. Caine speaks softly but hits hard. He lives humbly yet knows great contentment. He is the Old West's most unusual hero. But hero is not a word Caine would use. He would simply say, "I am a man."

  • wow this is actualy better than most movies nowadays

  • SUCH a great movie. Simply brilliant.

And this may sound a bit odd in light of the fact that Mr. Carradine just passed recently...but he was actually kinda handsome back in the day haha :]

R.I.P., to one of my heroes.

  • Kwai Chang Caine FTW!

  • is it me or does that pig look amazing?

  • One of the greatest relationships between men ever depicted....Great example of 2 beings totally in sync...

  • i would have killed him to go david

  • David Chow wrote a book about Kung Fu after he left the show. He barely mentions David Carradine in it. In fact, he is only mentioned in a couple of captions. The book is mostly about the history and techniques of Kung Fu.

  • Almost impossible to find any info on David Chow. He was a Judo master in the 60s. Look up Google Books for his full name David Tai Wei Chow. You will see his picture and info. Kam Yuen joined as advisor later in the show.

  • That's actually the show's advisor, Kam Yuen, a northern stylist.

  • the end of this clip is where the chinese workers should be taking bets.....Go Cain Go!

  • You can only get nobility through nepotism. How else is a noble rank passed on?

  • He was always a handsome man. Even older he looked good. In his own way. All the Carradines are attractive. ten million
