This was very cold and windy day. (AIR-18 C. Wind 20m/s). In Finland, we have 85000 regular cold water swimmers. Last year 460 000 tryed to swim in the icy cold water. There are many clubs, which offer Sauna and some even heated walkways, to the edge of the water.
Swimming in the cold water offers many health benefits, it has known to reduce blood pressure and to keep the regular cold away.
These swimmers told me that today the water feels much warmer ,than the air.
