i feel that we did this a couple times in rehearsal much better than the performance turned out, probably due to how crazy busy i was during the show, but here is the tango routine that Alan Steele and I performed at the Fall Showcase for The Ballroom Studio (www.theballroomstudio.com)

i LOVE this piece of music.

  • no offense, your dance is good.. i like it.. but.. it kind of seems like you're bored when you dance.. and you really need some sharpness, especially in your turns..

    but except of that: GREAT!

i know how it is to dance in front of a crowd, and it's hard to show your emotions to the dance then.. you just have to enjoy yourself while you're doing it.. don't try so hard.. then you'll be better..

i see a lot of talent here :)))

  • @dachbodenmaedchen yes i had only been dancing a few months at that point and was probably just trying not to screw up too badly :-P thanks for watching and commenting! :o)

  • this is not Tango. They are dancing ball room tango!

  • @claudiacal There are many kinds of tango, and "ballroom tango" isn't one of them. This is American Standard Tango. There is also Argentine Tango, which is what I'm thinking you might be more familiar with. I LOVE Argentine Tango and used to dance it all the time, but it's been a while. Thanks for commenting!

  • lovely....just liquid together:)...I do agree more could have been added and such but they really did a great job

  • @SmileItRainsInRohan Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed it!

  • This couple needs to take notes from what is said before this song starts in the movie...desire, passion, suspicion, passion, and jealousy are all very real and important parts to tango.

  • @DeathOfTheUniverse I agree! And I hope that someday I have more dance skill because if I could pull a really cool tango off, I would love that! :D Thanks for watching!

  • @poiZnndSkY14 Thanks! I wish I was a much better dancer because I can think of a lot more I'd like to add too! I watch So You Think You Can Dance all the time and wish I had their talent! :D

  • the only problem i see, is that with a dance like that, instead of the dance

movements flowing, they need to be sharper.

but i thought this was nothing short of fantastic.

I know i wish i could dance like that.
