A sunny spring day in 2004 on one of Hampshire's best know preserved railway lines.
Sit back and relax as the action unfolds in this part 1 of 2.
We start at Alresford and head off for Ropley with 4-6-2 West Country class Bodmin in charge.
We take a look around the sheds and even come across Thomas the Tank Engine.
A mechanical DMU makes an appearance as does a converted saddle tank loco working the 'experience steam' days.
All this takes place as the spring sun shines down and the birds sing in the trees.
