'Zeitgeist, The Movie' and 'Zeitgeist: Addendum' were created as Not-for-Profit expressions
to communicate what the author felt were highly important social understandings which
most humans are generally not aware of. The first film focuses on suppressed
historical & modern information about currently dominant social institutions, while
also exploring what could be in store for humanity if the power structures at large continue
their patterns of self-interest, corruption, and consolidation.

I assume there is a lot of myths and legends about ancient gods heroes around. You have to read A LOT about religions and cultures before being able to tell if these myths have been ever told and how common they have been in a given time. I don t believe the person who wrote the book this video is based on is poorly educated about ancient cultures, because she is specialized in one of them.Of course this story is only a viewpoint, not a whole truth.

I do have one question, even though I believe all this:

How come all ancients have the same astrological figures, like the southern cross. Also, is it just coincidence that they all celebrate the suns resurrection at the spring equinox ?
