It's Going To Be Okay - Season 2 Episode 7 Part 1

So I'm posting it before I go to bed because I might not get time to do so tomorrow. If I do have time I'll just have to post another one :).

*For a couple of minutes there was silence between Demi and Joe. Demi was still on the bed and Joe had sat on the couch a few feet away*
Joe: So, can I get you anything?
Demi: Im okay, thanks.
Joe: (Stands up) We should probably go out and meet with the others, are you okay to get up?
Demi: (Stands up and walks over to Joe) Im feeling better.
Joe: (Takes a step towards the door)
Demi: Wait.
Joe: (Stops and turns to look at Demi) Yeah Demi?
Demi: (Steps towards him and hugs his waist as tight as she could)
Joe: (Closes his eyes as a tear falls, without hugging back) What are you doing?
Demi: Telling you I love you.
Joe: (Shocked) W-what?
Demi: (Pulled away) I never stopped.
Joe: Then why--
Demi: Did I run away? Looking back I like to think it was because you hurt me, but now I realize that I was the one who hurt you. I thought leaving would make things better for all of you. Thats why I left. I mean, I was in the hospital for a reason right? Because I wanted to kill myself, I wanted the pain to just go away. It didnt exactly work out the first time, so I guess running away and starting a new life was the next best thing. So Im sorry I left, but Joe, I love you so much, and Ive been miserable without you.
Joe: I dont know what to say.
Demi: (Sighs) I understand if youre upset, or confused right now. But I really just needed to tell you how I feel. And the other night, Im sorry for slapping you. I was kind of confused I guess. However I do want you to know that I will always love you, no matter how hard I try I will never be able to stop.
Joe: (Still in shock) I--
Demi: (Flashes a comforting smile) That was all (Steps around him towards the door)
Joe: (Turns around and grabs her arm, pulling her toward him. He immediately kisses her more passionate then ever before)
Demi: (Smiling through the kiss, she deepens it and wraps her hands around his neck)
Joe: (Turns her around and walks her backwards towards the bed, laying her down and getting on top of her)
Demi: (Pulls away from the kiss) Joe
Joe: (Looks into her eyes) I love you too.
Demi: (Laughs and playfully pushes him off of her) Now get off.
Joe: (Stands up) Sorry.
Demi: No, its okay. Its just if we do get back together then I think we should take things slow. You know, go on dates, the normal couple like things that we technically never really got to do.
Joe: (Smiles) That sounds good (walks over to the couch) Now, come on. We have two years without each other to catch up on.
Demi: (Walks over and sits next to him) Where would you like to start?
Joe: Mitchell?
Demi: Hes a really great guy. Well, I guess he was (chuckles) We have been dating for three months.
Joe: Did he love you?
Demi: (Nods) Yeah.
Joe: Did you love him?
Demi: (Shakes her head) Not the way I should have.
Joe: Did you
Demi: Sleep with him?
Joe: You dont have to answer that. Im not sure Id really want to know anyways.
Demi: (Looks away, under her breath) Well I guess you wouldnt want to know about the six others either
Joe: (Hurt) Six?
Demi: (Sighs) Im sorry.
Joe: (Shakes his head) Dont be.
Demi: None of them meant anything.
Joe: I know.
Demi: (Looks at him) So what about you?
Joe: (Shakes his head) I was too busy looking for you.
Demi: (Looks away again)
Joe: All I would do when I wasnt at school or work was look for you. (Looks down) And drink.
