Wrong...Fans were giving them props when they first started playing in 84' and Les stated that they sucked. At local gigs Les would introduce themselves by saying, "We're Primus and we suck." It took off from there, hence their first album, "Suck On This." Beavis and Butthead aired in 1993 way after Primus Sucks was norm...

ok people that are getting upset over people saying primus sucks are not getting it. Back in the mid 90's with beavis and butthead they were watching a primus video and beavis said primus sucks. The band instead of taking it negatively adopted it, any of the true old school primus fans say primus sucks as a term of endearment not as an insult.
