People shouldn't compare him to Suh that much. I mean they play the same position sure but they have completely different styles. It's like comparing Ryan Mallet to Robert Griffin III.

people keep looking at this from a fan standpoint rather than a scouts or GMs. McCoy has more potential as a one gaper with his explosion, and that is saying something with how good Suh is. McCoy will be very good as an under tackle type and is an excellent fit for the Tampa 2 system. With that said, Suh is the safest draftee from this past draft and due to his ability to taking up space and draw double teams and shutting down the run and collapsing the pocket he will make the lions D better

there have been alot of DT that have been drafted in the 1st round the last 5 to 10 years and some of them are not even in the leauge anymore I think this guy will be a bust.

How do some people say he's better than Ndamukong Suh??? He always falls flat on his face whenever he gets penetration. He hardly EVER gets his man, and he doesn't deflect passes like Suh does. Sorry but Gerald McCoy is just a solid DT, not a great one like Suh.....not by a long shot.
