i came from mazar 2 months back....balkh got the best chars..and the pics u see is mostly turkmens...not uzbeks and im one of them :D

Balkh is an old city in northern modern day Afghanistan which originally was known as Khorasan (the land of sunrise).

Bishak Shirio77 nice to know that you are Balkh as well. Well said, I even think that the world without Balkh the glory this town and its sons and daughters offered was really a dull existence. Truely every inch of Balkh is to be loved and be passionate about its spirit! May Balkh re-find its old glory once again! Aameen! I am sure with the ambition and high spirit of Balkhians will achieve this aim soon.
