@Maxiking006 I think they came from alexander's world. Remember when Alexander's note said that he needed this substance for Agrippa's potion? He said that the substance isn't on this world, but you can get it from the Kaernk, the water monster.

@Maxiking006 He doesn't remember anything of his former self and gets a note that says that he's supposed to kill Alexander. It's been a while since I finished the game but I think that Daniel tried to get his revenge for what Alexander made him do and turned him into.

@Maxiking006 Daniel wants to kill Alexander for the horrible things that Alexander made him do. Daniel went to the castle to try to find a way to stop the shadow that's following him, and Alexander made Daniel kidnap people for torture. Daniel thought those people were criminals, etc. who deserved the torture. They were actually innocent.

@StOliverP yes but.....why daniel try to stop that? Whats so bad when he returns to his own world?And my biggest question is the zombies (brute,grunt)come from this world?

The music alone creeps me out, and then... God, I hated that painting in the game. It was creepier than the monsters :'p
