No time limit. Wrestler vs BJJ blue belt.. Stay out of trouble, (score points and wear him out.) Got sloppy and it was an early win because I still would have kept hanging and banging until the time was right to go balls out.

@Nate & LouLou....I wasnt talkin shit about this dude but you can simply see that he wasnt bout to take it to the ground in any way and when Acker was working the butt scoot he wasnt trying to pass at all..I hate having matches against guys who avoid the guard...Thats the whole point of Jiu Jitsu is to get the guy to the ground and pass...Call it shit talkin if you want but if it wasnt for Acker this match wouldnt have been exciting at all...I lay it all on the line every match no matter what !

Acker was patient and played his game no matter what, excellent match to show how to never abandon a gameplan.
hey nate, i really appreciate you taking the time to post these videos up man, if not for here i don't think i would ever see them! one typo i saw was in the description. it says the 170lb 4 man when we were actually competing at 185, because if louis taylor can make 170 i better work on getting down to 155 hah. other then that everything is awsome. thanks again for the post and i hope to get a chance to talk to you at another tournament soon.

@smithed46 No problem. Almost got enough footage to put together a highlight reel one of these days. Keep up the good work and I'll be seeing you at a tournament soon or on the next Madtown Throwdown card perhaps.

9:54 I loved that heel hook finish after about 9 minutes of this guy running away and avoiding Acker's guard, you could tell he didnt want no part of the ground for some reason but its not like he had excellent wrestling either so I dont know how this guy was gonna win this match...I believe that Andy Acker is one of the best Blue Belts in the Midwest no doubt :)
Thanks for the upload

@DieselBJJ To be fair to Louis, his first match went almost 30 minutes against Gerald Meerschaert which may have taken a toll on his wrestling ability. Acker finished his guy with a flying armbar within minutes. Unfortunately I didn't get that one on tape. Andy's definately one of the best guys we have in Wisconsin.
