Is that AliWoodson singing lead. I know it's not Dennis?

@DandJRuffin THEY DID HAVE HITS AFTER THE PSYCHEDELIC ERA. DENNIS & ALI DID RECREATE THE MAGIC. BOTH OF THEM ARE JUST AS GOOD AS DAVID RUFFIN & THEY WERE NOT TRYING TO BE HIM. THAT'S WHY I ADMIRE THEM.

David Sea really sang this song, he made it his own. He didn't try to sing it like any one else. Also Ali woodson had a version of this song he sang on the Whoopi Goldberg show, he also made it his own. He put a little Gospel in it.

@DandJRuffin I have to agree with u on David Sea. Out of everyone whom I heard sing this song lead, no one could come close. But David Sea pretty much made this song damn near his own. And not taking nothing else away from the other leads The Temps had, but Mr Sea put a S-T-A-M-P on this song. I am still a big fan of David Ruffin, his voice was truly magical and majestic.

@chakazula1 Sure like hell, they went down after the C5 had dissolved into more or less loosely assembled groupings. Even such fantastic singers like Dennis, Ali and Glenn couldn't re-create the magic of the C5. Their hits -- if there were any at all after the psychedelic era -- became fewer and fewer. Nowadays they are nothing but an oldies group (sad but true.)

this is pretty damn good!!!

The great Tempts Didnt go down after David, Eddie, and Paul left that so-called Classic lineup, it Seems to me that Richard, Dennis, along with Damon/glenn/tyson/louis Price/ and the incomparable Woodson carried on the tradition very well.
-
that is right, true tempts fan know David's voice, Dennis, louis, Woodson, theo, bo, G.C. Cameron, Paul, Eddie/damon, Richard, glenn and Tyson and Otis, who the hell don't know Melvin, A song don't hae to sound like David sung his song, singers have different voices, the fans seem to like David Sea singing, and Tedkay, you like who you like, but yall are always david this and David that, David was great but he was a loser, wasted talent!
@chakazula1 You are right, each singer has his/her own style. And there are lots of truly gifted and great singers around, covering David Ruffin songs/leads. But it's also true that once David Ruffin had sung a song, any other singer after him just couldn't compete. David Sea, though, is one of the very best singers ever! I bet even Ruff would agree with that statement. And no, David Ruffin isn't a loser. After all, he is well-loved and cherished by his fans almost 20 years after his death.
