that was an old comment. i had no idea what normalization was because i taught myself how to become a blacksmith. now i know much better after reading up on the trade. to answer your question, no i didn't. but like i said. i know much better now lol

@boredism07 did you normalize the steel before hardening?

thats one hell of a good looking knife. i make railroad spike knives myself. but you should really try some leaf springs and suspention springs too. much higher and yet structurally sound carbon content. just don't cool it in water. snapped a 9 inch blade in half doing that.

that is a sweet skinner, I like what ya did with the antler up front, nice touch.

great blade! whats the length? I have a couple of railroad spikes for when i get the forge going.
