"I've seen shihan who can't roll. I've seen videos of jumonji no kata being taught using ichimonji posture and footwork. "

that you say that these techniques are part of the ninjutsu of the bujinkan, is proof enough that you believe ninjutsu to be or include martial arts... which contradicts ALL factual evidence available...

why you would bother to label things trash before putting yourself in that bin is beyond me....

a master is only as good as his students, so hatsumi is TRASH

  • @mulder09

"But even he will tell you there is a lot of trash in the Bujinkan."

makes you wonder why he keeps giving those trash teaching credentials doesn't it?

"The japanese give rank because I believe because they see that potential in someone."

if you think this, you show true arrogance, for believing the bjk's TERRIBLE promotion policies in any way reflect the rest of japan...

the japanese ONLY give rank to those who have SHOWN, time and again, they deserve it.

"There is no need to waste time with people like Bindrfist. He's an idiot with little real knowledge about a very real art."

i assume you are referring to your BELIEF that togakure ryu is a "very real art" .... could you back that up with ANY paper evidence predating Showa 1950????

i KNOW you can't... because before 1950..,, takamatsu was STILL SELLING his "ninpo" as being part of the KUKISHIN ryu.... and he changed the NAME, not the skills... its the SAME 'taijutsu'.

  • @rakanzrib

"ppl r dissing ninjutsu (they don't even know there is a shinobijutsu)"

i haven't seen ANY of this "dissing ninjutsu" on youtube.... could you show me where i can FIND some???

"Just because of UFC they make fun of "ninja" in general completely disregarding shared human heritage!"

i don't understand what your referring to....

are you saying that, because we're all human, we should ignore when fellow humans lie to us???

or should we expose and exhibit the lies people sell for $?

  • I've seen shihan who can't roll. I've seen videos of jumonji no kata being taught using ichimonji posture and footwork. There is a host of shody instructors out there with black belts in the Bujinkan who don't understand the fundamental techniques and how to apply them. Don't get me wrong, I am a hard line supporter of the Bujinkan, and an instructor. Unfortunately, due to the "trash" out there, especially online, the art remains mostly hidden.

  • But even he will tell you there is a lot of trash in the Bujinkan. I think it has to do with a difference in the way the japanese think vs us westerners. When we obtain rank, we think it is because we earned it, much like a diploma from school. The japanese give rank because I believe because they see that potential in someone. Someone given a high rank should feel obligated to actually reach that rank. Unfortunately, many think they are actually there.

  • Frankly, I agree. There is no need to waste time with people like Bindrfist. He's an idiot with little real knowledge about a very real art. I've been in the Bujinkan since 1984, although I admit to having only truly trained properly for about half of that time. I will say that when properly done, the techniques taught in the Bujinkan are very effective. That said, I've seen a lot of crap in the Bujinkan. I've met Soke and I have the highest repect for him...

  • @kneehed123 dont waste your time with idiots like him (Bindrfist) he doesnt even know the correct word and if he thinks is fraud i want to see him facing a shidoshi or higher

  • Kneehed123 i think you should challenge him

  • @kneehed123 I agree totally. ppl r dissing ninjutsu (they don't even know there is a shinobijutsu) right, left, & center here on youtube. Just because of UFC they make fun of "ninja" in general completely disregarding shared human heritage! It's disgusting! And one of the first men that brought light to the 'ninja' is being dissed!
