  • @giowillis Doesn't transmit any feelings to the listener? You've got to be joking and when I listen to the Streisand version, the only feeling i get is that she's trying to overly impress the audience with her prodigious vocal talent.

  • @giowillis Julie London you mean.

  • superbe interprétation ! avec un excellent choix des photos !

  • @Hedgepook I thought that same thing the first time I heard this version...Julie London's is still my favorite, though!

  • anyone who says Ms. Boyle ain't transmitting any emotions, or is bland is not really listening. This voice is....OMG amazing, and her cover of this song....sends goosebumps up my spine. surely no one was expecting this voice from a simple, middle-aged woman as she is.

  • I feel like sitting in a rode side diner at night, well it's raining and drinking black coffee and smoking a cigarette because I'm a detective and I haven't found the killer of my partner.

  • this gave me a shiver

  • this made me cry

  • I find it interesting that people compare Susan who was a young amateur when this was recorded to singers who were trained professionals with years of experience. Personally, I think she is every bit as good as they are. She sings with a pure honest depth of feeling that is rare.

  • This should totally be the intro to a James Bond film.

  • Fuckin shit.. crazy good voice. I still love the Julie London version.
