During the 1979 Dutch Gran Prix,Patrese lost the control of his Arrows and crashed badly at the Tarzan Curve.Luckily he hadn't injures.

  • In those times drives could almost collect some vegetables after a crash, given the amount of "bush" around them! Incredible.

  • @pvtdangles Go do some researching before coment stupid things, at that time it was a security barrier to slow down car before it hits tha walls, and no to decaptitae anyone, it never happend!

  • @TheKardiacKid Lauda won the race with more than 30 seconds. You are right, it was banned after that race, having completed only one GP.

  • @fatboy69s The Fan Car was only used at Anderstorp before it was banned, I think.

  • Tufty would not have crossed the road there!

  • That Chassis A2/1 sits about 30 ft from my desk at work.
