The two songs are from Pantelis Thalassinos (Παντελής Θαλασσινός): Θαλασσινο - Thalassino (of the sea) and ΣΤΗ ΣΕΡΙΦΟ ΗΣΟΥΝ ΠΟΥΛΙ - sti Serifo isoun pouli (in Serifos you were a bird).

Aphrodite (Ἀφροδίτη) was the Greek goddess of beauty, and the mother of love (Ἔρως). She was born from the foam rising of the sea, some say in Kythera others in Cyprus.

In the Cyclades (Κυκλάδες), her temples existed in Kythnos (Κύθνος) and Amorgos (Αμοργός). All the islands of the Cyclades are beautiful, and its inhabitants have a true hellenic love for beauty.

Featured in this video are Kythnos (Κύθνος), Amorgos (Αμοργός), Andros (Άνδρος), Serifos (Σέριφος) and Paros (Πάρος).

The beautiful lady is Greek model Gogo Mastrokosta.

  • That was amazing, but why didn't Aphrodite visit Cyprus? I know she was "born" in a number of places, but why not Cyprus?
