Here's another of Ken at the Louisiana State HOG Rally skills competition. This videos illustrates several points. First, you can see how the rear wheel tracks significantly inside the path of the front in a tight turn. This is critical knowledge since more than one rider has gotten the front of their machine around an obstacle, only to smash the rear into it. Second, you can hear there is very little variation to the motor's RPMs. It stays consistently just above idle. This is one mark of a skilled rider. He is using the clutch, rather than the throttle to control the power to the rear wheel. Finally you can again see how Ken properly uses his head and eyes to look where he wants to be. Only by keeping your head and eyes up and out, can a pattern like this one be completed successfully.
This is a "lazy" exercise. More like a cooldown. Notice my brakelights never come on. I've learned to keep that rear brake cool.

Makes me super happy that H O G is beginning to recongnize skill riding. Hope to see this at all the H O G rallies someday. Very smooth there Ken, good job.

That looks like a tough excercise. If I tried that, there would be cones everywhere and spectators running for cover! Nice riding, Ken.
