Another cheap meal item is oatmeal. Recommend to add a few bottles of daily vitamins to it as well for new preppers.

i started prepping the day after japan earthqucke .did not no what to get but seeing this ,i feel much better .i was very close to what you said here.the highpoints are at less 2x hearvyer .but they shot true .very well done vid

@digmatology Or buy 12 jars of yeast. I did. Buy em on sale and stock up. Comfort food is something people need for mental status. Risen breads are my comfort food.

Don't forget the 500 dollar wheat grinder. here is how to make yeast bread with no yeast packet - 1 cup flour - 1 cup water in pint jar cover with cloth and set on the counter over night - the next day you dump half of it out - then you add back in 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup water cover and set out over night - do this everyday for 4-5 days and you will notice it it gets frothy. Once it gets frothy, you put the half you dump out into your flour dough and mix - let rise. Replace the half and stir
