you do not have to remove the switch panel. it can break you can undo connector after you get panel off.

Great videos - thanks for the info! Did you connect an amp to the door speakers as well, or just let the factory head unit power them?

@DoodfaceMcGee I connected the amp to the speaker wire connections behind the head unit. So it uses the factory wiring that goes through the door to the speaker. Easier this way. Thanks!

Great vid, Thanks! Are you happy you went with Infinity? Any other suggestions? Trying to decide which brand to put in my Fx4. Can't believe how disappointing the factory speakers are!

@Cooker2869 Ya man, couldn't be happier. As long as you put a sub with the infinity's. Without the sub they are lacking bass. But crystal clear. I kind of wish I bought component speakers and drilled the door higher for some tweeters. But at the time when I bought all the stuff, i thought "No way am I drilling my brand new truck doors" But I know I could have done a nice job with it now. Oh well,
