Experience the magic of Freedom School as it was recorded from one Freedom School site in Charlotte, NC. Montclaire Elementary School has some special kids in and around it. For the summer of 2011, St. Andrews United Methodist and Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian Churches came together, with help from Belk, Inc., to give children the gift of summer through Children's Defense Fund Freedom Schools(R). This is a true testament to the power of communities who come together for children in our community. CDF Freedom Schools in Charlotte are provided through Freedom School Partners, a 501c(3) serving children at-risk of school failure. Our mission is to engage, educate and empower children to succeed in school and in life through quality, year-round educational opportunities. Won't you join us in this new march on Freedom?
