FullMoon on Keyboard

Me playing the intro and keyboard solo to Sonata Arctica's FullMoon. I was bored and tired when I did so there is a little slip up and I'm not sure how good the quality is.

dude you have to buy a real synt at least an ensoniq!!! would be better if you sell that ax-7 and buy something with decent sounds just for start.. the lead sound and your way of playing has NO FEELING D:

The AX-7 doesn't have any sounds, it's just a MIDI controller. This was recorded a while ago and I now have a Korg sound module and various software synths that I use for my sounds.

Easy there. Why would selling a MIDI controller get me better sounds? Like I said, I have a proper sound module now so there's nothing to worry about. ;)

Oh no! When I saw you were playing this keyboard laying down, I had an eerie feeling you were going to be using the computer's Midi sounds.. NOOO!!! Sounds like it's straight out of nintendo.... You played it right, don't get me wrong, but I can't get past the cheesy midi sounds... buy like an 80 dollar yamaha keyboard at touys r us with MIDI in out and you'll see the difference!

I do know the difference between MIDI and proper sounds. I had this running through an £80 Yamaha at the time of recording and hated it

It is useless to flaunt the ax-7 if you do not have decent sounds. all appearance, no substance

Plus Kamelot uses a lot of orchestrations, that which they end up having to play a recording of when playing live. I agree SA has some amazing passages, I like Toni's style better than Henrik's (comparing Ecliptica to later albums)
