  • there is an easier way to cut the pipe and it will be square, you put it in a mitre box and use a tennon saw. might seem dumb to do that, but any wood saw causes no extra burrs than a hacksaw, and it cuts quicker with a woodsaw. another little trick i have is take a bastard cut file an put a chamfer on the end, is just means that if you insert a pipe into a rubber gasket say at the svp, you arent going to tear it, it needs less force push it in, and less silicone lube which can be costly.
