Nightster with a few mods. 'Stage 1' with Vance and Hines black Short Shots, Vance and Hines Fuelpak, and Screamin Eagle air cleaner. Black Progressive 412 rear shocks. Mustang Vintage Solo seat. The 'stage 1' with the new pipes really woke the bike up. It *feels* like a Harley now. The sound is incredible. It's quite a bit quicker too. The combination of the 412's and seat have made an incredible improvement to the ride. I think I can actually ride for more than an hour without needing to stop and stretch now. I plan on getting a detachable rear rack and roll bag for it still and maybe a new grips and pegs set, but I'm not planning much more in the way of modifications. A few accent pieces here and there is all I can foresee. No ape hangers or forward controls for me. I like it like it is.

  • I’m not particularly a fan of straight pipes that seemingly aim to just be as obnoxious as they can be with no tone at all, but a nice set of pipes adds a sensory experience to riding that you apparently have no grasp of. You’re passing judgment in regard to an experience that you don’t seem to know much if anything about.

  • A good first bike? Input would be appreciated. Only thing, I'm 6'3", 210 lbs. I don't intend to do extended highway driving. Is this the bike for me?

  • @Nyarl3 Mine was bad about bottoming out with my weight……..otherwise it’s a fun bike. They seem ‘small’ now that I have my BT, but I suppose that’s relative. Yes, good starter bike for sure…..

  • well that bike wont last long the way you just start it up and start rompin on the throttle right away

  • @NubsWithGuns Don't own it anymore........traded in after 1 year and 10,000 miles - like new.

FYI, I had just been on a afternoon ride - so much for your uninformed input.........

  • @Fastfwd01 what did u get after you traded it in ?

  • @msufan8854 check my other videos...... I traded for an '09 Street Bob and I LOVE it! The Nightster was fun, but the Street Bob has a bit more legs for the highway.....

  • My daughter's bike has about the same set up, only I had Harley put a race tuner and mapping on it. So I was out the other day riding the Ultra and my daughter was on the Nightster..I opened up the throttle and got up to 105 just in time to watch her go by me like I was going 55. Not something we wanted mom to find out about.

  • I love the old school look of the nightster

  • i really like those pipes how much did they cost?

  • @bonehead1603 I was expecting your comment to be 100% different. I couldn't agree with you more. I saw a MC Gang or Club at a Delaware flea market yesterday and I think everyone of them were on Harleys, a bunch of clones. Bet they wouldn't let you ride if you weren't on a Harley. I like this bike, but none of the chrome.

  • @LuckyGuu I DON,T KNOW WHY THESE GUYS LOVE CRAZY NOISE ON A BIKE , THE COPS CAN HEAR YOU THREE BLOCKS AWAY COMING . I LIKE THE BMW BIKE NOISE THEY PASS YOU BY AND DON,T EVEN HEAR THEM COMING , UNTIL THEY ALREADY PASS YOU BY THEN YOU REALIZED THAT YOU HAVE BEEN PASS BY A BMW . NOW THATS WHAT I CALL STEALTH , THATS THE WAY IT SUPPOSED TO BE .

  • beautiful, but I HATE THE NOISE. It screams "I have no respect for anyone and look at how big my EGO is, jealous huh?"

  • My favourite HD. Thanks for posting.

  • @dumapies

well that's why I liked this bike in particular, I started on an enduro and being big it had a fuck of a lot of problems, then moved to different sportsters and had problems with balancing issues and bottoming out. This bike I didn't really have problems like that, I wanna say because the bike is centered lower to the ground but idk. The bikes design allows for easy comfort and mobility for fat dudes like me. Although I feel like clint walker, its small as hell!!!! and I tower it!

  • @puffisnick09

things got not issue with a 280lb guy on it?

  • @95beretta I am shopping for a bike now too. I tried out a nightster with mid controls and an 883 superlow with forward controls... I am 5'9" and the forward controls were far more comfortable for me even though the superlow is a smaller bike. 31" inseam btw.
