When you were explaining Water for Elephants , it reminded me of Carnivale, an older HBO show that I absolutely loved! It was also based during the Great Depression and about the travelling circuses, although the plot is a lot different! That book sounds great I think I'm going to pick that up. Oh and I love your nailpolish!

I loved, loved Water for Elephants. I'm reading A Reliable Wife now and so far it's really good.

If you like historical fiction, which as I can see from your videos you do, you might want to check out A Game of Thrones from The A Song of Ice and Fire series by George r r Martin. It's takes place in medieval times, and it's about the struggle to to keep or achieve power, it's incredibly realistic, and it's an excellent book it's quite long, so you really have to love reading to get into this. Also the character development is so amazing, best I've ever read.

Have you read The Jade Peony by Wayson Choy? it's about the Chinese in Vancouver and how their life was. I think you'd enjoy it.

You should come to Croatia on vacation during the summer! It's great here, we have Adriatic Sea, you could rest, relax and see lot of cultular things. :)

I absolutely adored Water for Elephants....I picked it up by chance in an airport about four years ago and it's one of the greatest books I've read.
Hey i have a question for you: how many books do you read per month?

@Strijdparel It all depends on how many words a book has, if I like the story, how much free time I have, etc...

My great grandmother had her feet bound and it sounds extremely horrible. Apart from tightening the cloth from time to time, they have to put glass shards on their feet for it to rot so that they can crush the bones and let the feet be a mere 3 inches long. And the women could hardly walk after that!
