Great video, our teacher tells us to paint prep with silicone before paint spraying, guess he will have a lot of returning cars?

lol, I don't think that would be the case. It's best to eliminate wax/silicone before you start. If you sand over wax its gonna be spread all over your panel and you'll be applying primers and fillers over it. Usually a heavier cleaner at the start and a lighter one (alcohol based) before painting to remove fingerprint oils..etc. Many guys i've seen wont take the time to do from the start but it is a good practice.
