Leadership Award to Schnitzelburg Area Community Association

Center for Neighborhoods awards Gary Allen, President of the Schnitzelburg Area Council, with the Mark Buchter Memorial Neighborhood Leadership Award, and also recognizes the Schnitzelburg Area Community Council with a general Neighborhood Leadership Award for converting the closed down St. Elizabeth Catholic School into a senior community center with the help of Father Roy Stiles and Metro Councilman Jim King. This video is a short documentary on Gary Allen and the senior community center being developed at St. Elizabeth's on Burnet Street.
