I planted some strawberries this year in containers (no land to plant them and a lot of deer). Mine put on some decent leaves and flowers but not as many berries as I expected. If I were to guess, the mix of them being first year plants and our crazy temp fluctuations did it. It can be 90-100 during the day and 50-60 at night (F) during summer. I have to water every other day, good soakings, as the soil will dry very quickly as our humidity is also around 10-20% during summer.

you mentioned water. i have my strawberries in a container. i was wondering if the flowers die and the berries don't seem to come or they're really small does that mean that they don't have enough water? Because I get lots and lots of flower stems, but only a few berries and they don't grow very big. How can I make them bigger and make sure that they all turn into berries? thanks so much for your information, yours is the first video i've found where you gave lots of detailed information.
