Extensive government think tank, private and university studies have consistently shown over decades that peoples "moral" and/or "ethical" standards are easily overridden through reward systems. Also, the lower the "IQ" the more easily manipulated. People who need "structure" from another human as their driving force are MUCH more likely to do the bidding of their perceived superiors.
