PMQs - Where's the taxpayers gold? (01Apr09)

A question asking Gordon Brown where the taxpayers gold reserves have vanished. Gordon gives a pathetic answer of us being in profit because he / New Labour brought bits of worthless paper.

Idiots like Gordon have devalued the UK Pound by a historic large amount, the Euro is worthless. The Uk has no physical assets, just worthless bits of paper. to show for the selling of the gold at a massive loss.

Where is the sense in selling a country´s gold assets? This shows what a traitor this man is to the UK. How many YEARS of UK enterprise did it take to accumulate such quantities of Gold? What was it for...simply to sell off to a bidder when you need a few quid in the coffers, and what gave him the authority to do it anyway? I hate him!!!

@sinclair61 The current internet rumour mill, which actually put 2+2 together makes a lot of sense, is Gordon deliberately sold the gold to bail out two failed investment arms in the UK... one with a very old family name who's history is making a financial killing off the backs of the UK taxpayer. Do your own research, reach your own conclusions.

Whatever the truth, one fact remains, it was deliberate sabotage by Gordon Brown against the UK taxpayer.
