So my bff suggested I write something with Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift as a couple, so I wrote this for her tonight. It's not that great, because I wrote it really quick, but I thought I would post it anyways :P. It's Christmas themed and it's kind of corny, but please read and comment anyways! :).
The snow was beautiful that night. I was sitting alone in my apartment once again, staring out the window and sipping hot cocoa. It was Christmas eve and usually I would be with my family but I was waiting for Taylor to show up so that we could spend Christmas together like he promised.
Taylor and I had been together now about three years. We got really close after we had worked together on a movie about four years ago. It took us a year to decide that we wanted to try to take things further and now here we are. Hes been working the past few months on a new movie, one that is being filmed in another country, so we havent seen much of each other for a while. He would promise me all the time that he would come see me on his days off, but he hadnt gotten a chance to. Despite the separation, I was certain of one thing. I was madly in love with him, and nothing could change that, not even the distance that is usually between us.
Ive been on break from tour all of December, so Ive been alone just waiting to hear from him, or hoping for a surprise visit, but Ive not heard much from him because hes always too busy. Sure we would text every now and then, but it wasnt the same as being with one another. I guess its something you have to get used to when one of you is a famous movie star and the other a country superstar, both with booming careers and demanding schedules.
By now it was past midnight and there was still no sign of Taylor so I decided to finally go to bed. It was too late now to go home so I just figured I would go home in the morning before everyone else would be up. I rinsed my cup in the sink, changed into my nightgown, and got into bed. I fell asleep quickly, though all I had on my mind was Taylor and how disappointed I felt.
The next morning I woke up, still alone. I sighed heavily, getting up to take a shower. Once I was finished, I dried my hair, threw on some sweats and a little mascara and cover up. I packed a bag to last me a few days for when I went home and grabbed a bagel to take with me for the drive. Just as I was about to open the door my cell phone rang. I answered it after letting it ring a few times, as it was Taylor and I was still really disappointed he didnt show. I put the phone up to my ear after pressing talk, but I didnt say anything, I just sighed.
Hey babe He said in a chipper tone. How are you?
I rolled my eyes. I couldnt believe he was actually asking me this. What do you think. My boyfriend has been away a few months and he cant even be bothered to come home for Christmas. So Im great.
About that, Tay Im really sorry that Ive not been around. I just wanted to finish the movie so that I could get back to you and we would be able to be together sooner. he explained.
Alright, whatever you say Taylor. Ive got to go, Im headed to mom and dads house for Christmas. I would have went last night but I was waiting for you hoping youd show up. I guess that was a waste of time I said, now almost out of breath because of my frustration.
Tay he said desperately.
Merry Christmas Taylor. I hope you have a great day. And with that I hung up, tears now pouring down my face. I fell to my knees because I was so upset. I didnt understand why I was acting like this, I should have been used to it by now but it just hit me really hard this time around.
