@biggydman Wow, one from the archives! LOL I don't think I implied only religious people bully gay or presumed-gay young people, but I know how often I heard anti-gay sermons and Sunday school lessons in church that were meant to keep the animosity and pressure up on gay young people. The intention of the church was to humiliate, frighten, intimidate, or coerce young people to stop being gay to "save their souls". How is that not mental illness?

I'm so glad you've realized that only religious people are bullies!! LOL I remember being in high school and the taunting and teasing of kids that had signs of homosexuality and it was usually not the goody two shoes or religious kids- it was the jocks and popular kids- the head of the herd in your natural selection. I do agree with you on one thing- people who don't share my world view are all mentally challenged. In essence, isn't that what you just said?

to be honest, i really think in the end they couldn't give a shit. they say hate the sin but not the sinner, ya, that's a bunch of shit too. they are just bigots and they don't even know it.
