Enjoy the Slideshow as you meet some of our experienced Foster Parents. This picnic is a celebration when the puppies are returned to Deputy Dogs, to begin their formal training. This is a tough day for Foster Parents and Puppies alike, and you wonder at how they can give up the little ones (who have grown from 15 lbs to 75 lbs in four or five months!). But as our most respected foster says often. . ."How can I NOT give him up? He has such a future to fulfill, people to find, lives to save, and he already is showing that he wants the job! How could I withhold that from him?"
