WWE Royal Rumble 2009 Results

(1) Rey Mysterio enters first.

(2) John Morrison. Next man enters in 90 seconds.

(3) Carlito

(4) MVP

(5) The Great Khali

(6) Vladimir Kozlov. Kozlov eliminated Khali at 6:53. Kozlov eliminated MVP at 7:11, and Carlito at 7:51.

(7) Triple H enters and stares down Kozlov. Hunter eliminated Kozlov at 9:11.

(8) Randy Orton. Orton enters and goes right after Hunter. Rey dails up 619 on Morrison.

(9) JTG of Cryme Tyme. JTG and Shad flip a coin and apparently JTG won and entered the match.

(10) Ted DiBiase Jr.

(11) Y2J. Jericho tried unsuccessfully to eliminate Orton. We have JR and The King calling the action.

(12) Mike Knox.

(13) The Miz. Orton goes on a RKO rampage, but The Game hits the pedigree on Orton. The Game eliminated the tag team champions - Miz and Morrison.

(14) Finlay. Rey went over the top rope, but his feet stayed on Miz and Morrison, and saved himself from elimination.

(15) Cody Rhodes. The Legacy start triple teaming their opponents. Orton RKOs Mysterio.

(16) The Undertaker. Taker eliminated JTG at 23:53.

(17) Goldust. Cody confronts Goldust, but Goldust smacked his brother. Orton RKOs Goldust. Cody eliminted Goldust at 26:04.

(18) CM Punk. Punk hits the Go to Sleep on Hunter!

(19) Mark Henry.

(20) Shelton Benjamin.

(21) William Regal. Henry walked away, being eliminated by Rey pulling down the top rope. Cameras missed this one, as even JR wasn't sure Henry was gone.

(22) Kofi Kingston. The Undertaker has been busted open. Taker eliminated Benjamin at 33:54.

(23) Kane. Kane and Taker did a stare down. They double teamed DiBiase. Punk eliminated Regal.

(24) R-Truth.

(25) Rob Van Dam. JR said 16,000 plus are on the their feet.

(26) The Brian Kendrick. Kofi eliminated by Kendrick upon entering. Triple H quickly eliminated Kendrick.

(27) Dolph Ziggler. Kane eliminated Ziggler at 41:16.

(28) Santino Marella. Marella QUICKLY eliminated by Kane. Might be a new record for quickest elimination.

(29) Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

(30) The Big Show. Show starred down Taker, but Kane punched Show. Duggan was eliminated by The Big Show at 47:02. Show eliminated R-Truth at 48:18. Show eliminated Punk at 49:00 via a right hand. Mysterio and Mike Knox were eliminated. Hornswoggle enters the ring. Finlay was eliminated by Kane at 49:52. Mysterio lasted 49 minutes. RVD was eliminated by Jericho at 51:52. Taker eliminated Y2J at 52:17. The Legacy eliminated Kane just shy of the 53 minute mark.

It is down to Legacy, Hunter, The Undertaker, and The Show.
Taker and The Show brawled in the middle of the ring. Taker clotheslined Big Show, and nearly eliminated him. Orton eliminated The Big Show, who then eliminated The Undertaker. Final four, The Legacy and The Game.

As Rhodes and DiBiase held down The Game, Orton slapped Hunter. Hunter eliminated DiBiase and Rhodes, but Orton snuck up behind Triple H and tossed him over the top rope at 58:38 to win the 2009 Royal Rumble.
