funny you should say that. the dresses and the colors... even the patterns/decorations are virtually identical to what is found thousands of miles away in india. interesting
2) To the person who said that women are forced to dressed like this... we are proud of hour traditional dresses and we are not forced into it ... it's a part of our culture and covering the face is just a part of " game play " in the dance but noone is forcing us to do so. Besides, you gotta know that Sahraoui people value women and respect them. SO PLEASE don't judge the book from its cover and try to learn more without prejeduces and stereotypes
1) I'm a sahraoui girl and MOROCCAN girl and Proud to be Part of Morocco SAHARA has always been historically linked to Morocco and ONLY Morocco claimed its independence when Spanish was colonizing it. If you wanna be part of Algeria just go there because don't fool yourself if Sahara got its independence ( and Inshaa Allah it will never as it's Moroccan land) it will be under Algerian protectorat.
LONG LIFE TO THE KING FOR A UNITED, SECURE AND STABLE MOROCCO ... ALWAYS- AMINE
@glorplaxy of course you are right It could be just a coincidence but I observed many more similarities between the cultures I mentioned below. it's not only the rhythmic patterns or the pentatonic scale it's also the dancing and singing (especially the singing) . And I'm thinking here about very very old ties like way before biblical times. I can't prove it though it is just a gut feeling. Anyway its good to have many cultures on youtube to share and learn from each other. thx 4 ur comm.
@dnicholsoncole you idiot. the women are not forced to dress this way. believe it or not, but there are many places in the world where the idea of beauty and style is different than dressing like a western slut.
