An American Girl Doll named Gwen Thompson moves to a new town, Dollington. She is nervous. Back in her old town she and one friend, her Mom and her two dogs. Gwen loves to dance. So does the popular girls. On the first day of school Jess Mc Connel has to help Gwen around. Meanwhile the two popular girl Elizabeth and Chrissa that hang out with Jess make fun of Gwen. At night Gwen performs at a dance competition. She performed exactly how her dance studio told her too. The competition was to dance a short dance. Gwen was really good. Elizabeth and Chrissa figure out she is a good dancer at the end. They are really jealous. To be continued.
