  • i had periodontal disease for about 5 years until i got a real job that had benefits. I had to do deep tissue scaling on my upper teeth. it sucked. I hate flossing, but i do it constantly, about 4 ti,kes a week. I know i should do more. All im saying is that maintenance is necessary to keep your mouth clean.

  • @TheSupercow2008 lol once a day as a kid? when I was a kid I didnt brush my teeth so often and I certainly NEVER flossed until I was like....21 now im 24....I still dont floss everyday maybe once a week...and often I skip brushing in the morning....and do I have periodonal disease? nope....do I have gintivitus? I dont think so...if I had my dentist would most likely notice it...and I dont have any gum or teeth problems...

  • I used to brush once a day as a kid. For several years Ive been brushing and flossing twice a day. Now im going to brush and floss 3 times a day to prevent this from getting worse. I dont have gingitivis, but I notice that my teeth are weak and sensitive along the bottom at the gumline. I told my dentist about this 3 years ago (my last visit) and he said it was fine, just keep brushing. He should have at least informed me that I had the early stages of periodontal and then educated me on wh

  • Yes i am agree with you.A good dentist is that which have complete knowledge about oral health.The one major thing we have to consider is that their work experience.

  • @Furrykid10 i went to this dentist, Raymond Hatland, he resides in chicago but give him a call and see if he could reference you some dentist near you, his staff is also very understanding and wont make you feel awkward or embarrassed. look him up on the web.
