The summer release of "Start Peace," an anthem performed by super group 4Peace which members includes Twice Thou, formerly of MadeMen, Edo. G, DQuest and Wyatt "Mo 'gee" Jackson has ignited a crusade to enlighten and inspire individuals, especially inner-city youth to take an active role in preventing violence and spreading a message of peace to promote change in their communities. The members of 4 Peace have all seen success in the music industry while performing in critically acclaimed productions, winning numerous awards, and creating legendary hip-hop and R&B hits. The artists of 4Peace grew up in the inner-city of Boston, MA and have all witnessed the negative changes in their communities ravaged by violence, drugs, guns, gangs, and poverty. However, 4Peace also recognizes the potential for their communities to prosper and have taken the opportunity to use their talent to make a difference. "Start Peace" is the musical culmination sung by artists who are active within their neighborhood and who want to spread the "Start Peace" Movement to the masses.

The launch of the" Start Peace" movement began with the record level of violence in the streets of Boston involving city-youth and the controversy surrounding the Antonio Ansaldi "Stop Snitchin'" T-shirt, which prompted strong opposition from Mayor of Boston Thomas Menino. Antonio Ennis a.k.a Twice Thou, CEO of Antonio Ansaldi Clothing Company and member of 4 Peace decided to remove his provocative design from his store shelves to send a positive message in his community and to other business owners who may have carried the more notorious knock-off versions of his design. He created the new "Start Peace" T-shirt with design themes which promote the influential message of reconciliation, responsibility, and hope inspired by the emerging "Start Peace" Movement.
