the thing here is that...most of people that talks spanish in youtube speaks english because more people can understand...!! like me i talk spanish and use english in youtube...i have a message in spanish...EL INGLES ES UNA MIERDA QUE NO NOS DEJA EXPRESARNOS ES NUESTRO IDIOMA PERRAS!!!! jhon petrucci rocks!

I don't know what you guys have against James Labrie... he has such an unique voice, I can't see Dream Theater with anyone else singing in their songs.
I agree he used to be much better at higher notes, but he still have a clear heavenly voice that, I believe, sounds good. And he's also doing his best to chant in a more metal way, at which he is good enough, without being Russel Allen.
Maybe you don't like it at the beginning of the singing it is because there is vocal distortion added.
