No direct effect on libido...unless, you are inhibited by the incontinence that may occur during sexual activity, in which case with improvement/resolution of the incontinence, libido should improve as well.

Thank you for the informative explanation. I am going to have Bladder Sling procedure with a oophorectomy in 2 weeks. This has made me more at ease with the upcoming surgery.

This can happen to young women who have not had children, especially if your bladder is quite full and you do vigorous exercise, jump, cough, sneeze or laugh. The key is to empty your bladder regularly and do your pelvic floor exercises...see my video on pelvic exercises for more information. If the problem persists, despite the aforementioned, you should definitely see a urologist.

My wife had this surgery and the mesh wore through the skin. i could feel it during intercourse. she now needs more surgery. they said that only 3% of the people who get this done have those issues.

Vaginal exposure or erosion is an infrequent complication with the current generation of synthetic slings that are made of monofilament polypropylene, have large pores, and are elastic. When synthetic slings are made of materials that do not have the aforementioned physical properties, the erosion rate goes up substantially.
Fortunately, the problem that your wife is experiencing is usually easily corrected.
