@ diogo86 : they have demo'ed it (meaning, first public call) when it was presented. The video is all over the web and each Mac World event is available to be seen on Apple's website. They also have there a 20 minute video presentation of all the main features of the iPhone. If you haven't watched any of these was because 1- you actually don't care ; 2- you just woke up from a coma.

@ Ibhenriksen : it runs a fully W3C compliant web browser, it shows webpages exactly the same way as if it was a laptop or a desktop. It is not a WAP browser, it is not using WML... its a regular browser and as such loads pages as any other regular browser. Do you even have any idea of what you are talking about?

Bullshit. It's not even close to what the internet looks like on a high end laptop or desktop. I went to a place where they showcased this. The resolution is worse and despite the fact what the ad says. YES it's still an abbreviated version of the Internet. Why do they keep lying?

they forgot to show the bloddy 10 minutes wait time... iphones suck, as do imacs, i whatevers and ibooks and other i products.
if apple doesnt want to lose money, they better stick to making ipods. apple is making a mistake...as sony did with the ps3... no one thinks sony is a good company anymore anyway (ahem, exploding batteries)
