You'll see the some Resident Allstars members having a session - and they will show you how to order variations and arrangement parts for you next reggae dancehall show!
In this part one it's all about Mix Ups, One Drop, Riddim Chunk and a new Special Mix Up part (it was actually also new to Oliver & Martin as you will see;)...
There are some more cool typs of parts like the 'Lower', 'March' and the very basic 'Mix Up' which one is easyer than the one shown in this clip. With the Resident Allstars we use this stuff as kind of breaks, to have more fun on stage and to get a 'we're like jazz people' kind of feeling;)
For a reggae backing band breaks is the real deal, so stay tuned for part 2 the one day...

And for those who are interested: Singing is Momo, from the left to the right we have Oliver Kusterer (Sam Ragga Band) and Martin D. Light (iManClan a.m.m.) and Micky Pahlich aka White Lion as dancehall instructor and drummer. Watch out for the Resident Allstars, we have so many live clips there on YouTube!
