Kendo training in Niseko Japan with a 83 yr old master

Amazing video of a 83 yr old Master using a 700 year old Katana. Training Kendo and iaido are all part of the daily training ritual that these students must go through with their Master in a town next to Niseko in Hokkaido.. ニセコ

some of you are funny...Ken means sword...Shin means nature god etc..

Kenshin means swordsman.

They use Hibiki Katana without an edge for kata.

I highly doubt ,He's useing a 700 year old sword. maybe 7 years old =)

Iaido is a seperate sword tradition....Kendo is Itto ryu lineage.

I myself don't practice Iaido or have any need to.

@kenshin420jj I actually filmed the story and it was a 700 year old sword. It was his fathers and had been in the family for 8 generations.. :)))
