i never really paid attention to this. but a couple months ago i watched the movie i think its called jack or something and it has al pacino. great movie. and i agree with dr jack. if i was in pain and i didnt want to live under drs orders and i want to go let me go it would be my choice

It's usually referred to as "doctor assisted suicide or "euthanasia". In the US, it's illegal everywhere except Oregon and Washington, though it wasn't legal in either state during the time of Dr. Kevorkian. It's also legal in Belgium, Luxemborg, the Netherlands, and Columbia.

These people were in pain and would probably never get better, he was just helping them. It's not like he killed people against there will he gave them a choice live in pain or pass on.
