X3 Terran Conflict: Fight Trailer

This and Dwarf Fortress are two the deepest games I've ever seen.

I got this game a week ago.

I'll probably be slow to achieve anything, and lose many fights, but I never played a game that was so open-ended.

I really hope they continue to add more to this game, I'd play it forever.

Do i have to play X3 Reunion to enjoy this game fully?

No you don't need Reunion at all.
But if you never play any X game before be ready to read alot in the forums and tons of tutorials...if you can do so you'll find that game to be one of the best games ever created.

You get the plans for the HQ from missions...Read the official forums you'll find every thing in the FAQs.

Whoa whoa whoa buddy. Before you jump to conclusions, let it be said that this game requires much time and patience to play, let alone learn the controls.

In X3TC you start from almost nothing and work your way up to building an empire.

Do you have such time to invest?

For the moment, I think I do.

I don't expect to start the game and have an empire established or an armada at my command, make no mistake.
Building them is part of the fun in such games, I know. It will make them all the more satisfying to possess.
