nohastok [premiere] (2/2)

Shingo Inao (sensor instrument Tosso)
nohastok is a performance for original sensor instrument Tosso.

Tosso has 6 guitar strings which have several length and a tilt sensor with its body. Player can transform his moving into sound effect of computer (Max/MSP) through microfone which sets on Tosso.

This piece is a composed improvisation.It has certain structure, but player can decide always when the next part is started by pushing switch which is built in rear of the instrument.

Tosso is designed and built by Shingo Inao and computer program is developed by Chikashi Miyama.

This performance as premiere was given on 5th, January 2008 at opening performance of exhibition "2 x Three Beauties" in General Public, Berlin.
It´s organized by la-condition-japonaise.
