@zazzooooo thats amazing. Thats what happened to me too, in a more unconventional way I guess, with Jude Law. He played Oscar Wilde's lover(Bosie) in a movie a long time ago and since I hate Bosie I would get a gut reaction every time I saw Jude Law. It took Sherlock Holmes for me to "forgive" Jude Law and even then I sat there in the premiere mumbling about how Jude Law couldnt be a good Watson! lol

Garak is one of the best characters in Ds9.
I'm glad he didn't get the Odo part, no one could portrait Garak better than Andrew. and besides in my opinion Odo wasn't an interesting character
