"Fascination" was composed in 1932 by F.D. Marchetti with lyrics in French by Maurice de Féraudy. It was recorded in 1957 by Jane Morgan and The Troubadours with English lyrics by Dick Manning. The record was released by Kapp Records and reached #7 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Chart. It is available on the CD, Fascination - The Ultimate Collection,on the Jasmine label.

Right on.

She respected the melody as written by Italian songwriter Dante Marchetti and French songwriter Maurice de Feraudy.

Had Jane Morgan done violence to the melody the way so many other singers did, she would have ruined it.

Thank god she had better sense.

This song was my Uncle Maurice and Aunt Cindy's song, they were married only a few years. My Uncle passed into Heaven on June 2 1971, Every time I hear this song I can feel his presence
