its not "dead" but it has changed. i mean this was 2006, and now in 2009 i wont go anymore cos its so different. its now the "cool" thing and the music has lost a lot of its passion in my opinion. i miss it.

ou are so right. alot of the music haas lost its passion and meaning but i honestly think its the minority of people now fucking up events for music and atmosphere lovers like u and me. i mean, look what happened at trance energy, its disgusting! so shattered about defcon :(

WOW! You think its changed that much since 06? The whole scene changed years before that. Back in the 90s and early 2000s were the days. Down @ the Docks in Melbourne. No commercialism, no attitudes, just straight up partying with like minded people who just wanted to have a boogie. The scene is a far cry from what it was back then. But that wont stop me from going out now though. As long as i'm enjoying the music i'll keep partying. Surround yourself with positive people and you will enjoy it.

man you are inspiring. i feel like i can relate to you so much. i hate the way the scene has changed. right as i was getting into it, i've seen it basically destroyed. and you are so right, i hate it how people just ASSUME i do drugs because i shuffle. i hate it so much. i go out to feel the music, and rock it through my body from my ears down to my feet. i dont go out to get drunk or do drugs. the music is the only thing i need to max out my night. that and water to stop me from dying. lol :P

thats so true!! but thats what everyone things about me when i start raving and i dont take drugs either and its really annoying to be categorised like that. defcon isnt coming back to melbourne because there was too many overdoses by wankas taking GBH and its sucks and gets me so angry because music lovers like us cant enjoy places like this and events because of them!! its sucks bad!! i jus listen to it on my ipod now lol
